However, with no opportunity to buy tickets in advance online, it can be a stressful experience for those unfamiliar with taking public transport in a foreign country. The bus departs from Phuket Bus Terminal 2, which is located just north of the town of Phuket. Pickup is from outside the post office building at the international terminal of Phuket Airport, and passengers are advised to arrive 30 minutes before departure.
