Though their ferries are not the most modern, like Lomprayah’s, they are still very serviceable and capable of carrying up to 400 passengers and 70 cars. Raja Ferry also owns two ports, one in Donsak and one in Koh Samui.

What attracts customers to travel with Raja Ferry is their low price and ability to bring their vehicles with them. They have also expanded their services and can now offer convenient additional transport by either bus or van, taking you to or from cities like Bangkok to Surat Thani.

Raja Ferry Reviews

Raja Ferry have a good reputation among travelers, evidenced by their 3.9 out of 5 rating from over 500 verified traveler reviews at Travelfoot/12Go. The frequent departures and the ability to bring your vehicle on their ferries stands out as the most positive feedback given.

The most frequent complaints are that the buses don’t have toilets and sometimes go too many hours without breaks. Some travelers are unhappy with delays, but in general Raja Ferry is seen as good at keeping their schedule.

Their fleet of ferries and buses are not the newest, meaning you might be more comfortable traveling with one of their competitors, but there is only one other company that can match their prices, Seatran Ferry, and their ferries are very similar to Raja Ferry ferries both in terms of speed and quality.
